New applications for the world’s smallest high-precision capacitance dilatometer and its stress-implementing counterpart

We introduce a new stress dilatometer with exactly the same size and weight as world's smallest miniature capacitance (height x width depth = 15 mmx14 mmx15 mm, weight: 12 g). To develop this device, only single part of most recently developed mini-dilatometer, so-called 'body', needs to be replaced. Therefore, mini an interchangeable body can used for high-resolution measurements thermal expansion magnetostriction without large stress. also report two novel applications both mini-dilatometer cell types. Our setup was installed first time in cryogen-free system (PPMS DynaCool). The allows rotation dilatometers situ at any angle between -90 deg > {\mu} +90 temperature range from 320 K 1.8 K. our mini-cells dilution refrigerator insert PPMS DynaCool, which dilatometric are now possible 4 0.06 Because limited sample space, such could not performed so far. For applications, we resolve impressive length changes 0.01 A.
